Cardinal Experience Program
The “Cardinal Experience Program,” is one of many efforts to increase first-year students’ early engagement and connection with the College through campus involvement.
First-year students are expected to attend eight out of classroom events prior to their earning 30 credits. At the end of each “Cardinal Experience Program” branded event, students will present to the event sponsor/facilitator their “Cardinal Experience Program” card to be stamped as proof of attendance.
The FYE stamp can be picked up at the Scholarship Center (AC-4DA1) on the day of your scheduled event and returned the same day. We also ask that you have students sign-in at your respective event to help facilitate accurate record keeping.
We invite your participation in this program by submitting your department/program event(s) to be included and branded as a “Cardinal Experience Program” event. In doing so, we will be able to help you in marketing your event(s) to freshmen. And, mutually beneficial, students will be exposed to various experiences that promote personal growth and learning. If interested, please submit your event for consideration to the “Cardinal Experience Program”.

The instructions are:
- Create an event on the York College Website
- Enter and Save the information that you have created
- Go to the green bar click on the drop down menu marked Private
- Submit the event to FYE Committee
- Wait for event to be approved
Please submit your information two weeks prior to the event.
