Submit to the York Scholar

Submit Your Research Paper to the York Scholar, Submission guidelines for the York Scholar.

Thank you for considering submitting your final research paper from Writing 301, 302 and 303 to the York Scholar. Here are the steps that you should follow to submit your paper:

  • Print out a hard copy of your final paper from your Writing 301, 302 or 303 course OR prepare a document in .doc, .docx, .rtf or .txt format for submission via email. We cannot read .wps (Microsoft Works) files.
  • Download the permission form, and fill out the missing information. You can then either print the form out, and submit it in person with the hard copy of your final paper that you printed out, or email it as an attachment.
  • Submit your paper to Ms. Rebecca Ciceron. Hard copies can be delivered to her in AC-2A16, or emailed to rciceron@york.cuny.edu.
 
Once we have received your submission, the editors of the York Scholar will review it, and contact you about what will happen next. Please be sure to provide an email address which you check regularly, AND a phone number, so that we can get in touch with you.
 
If your paper is selected, the editors will work with you to make further revisions to your paper for publication. The process provides good experience for any future writing and publishing that you might do.
