Submit to the York Review
The York Review accepts submissions from students in English courses and Writing 301, 302, and 303, in all non-fiction and fiction genres: research papers, critical essays, fiction, poetry, and plays, etc. Here are the steps that you should follow to submit your work:
- Print out a hard copy of your submission OR prepare a document in .doc, .docx, .rtf or .txt format for submission via email. We cannot read .wps (Microsoft Works) files.
- On the cover sheet, include your complete contact information: name, email addresses, phone, and any other contact information.
- Hard copies should be delivered to the Department of English in AC-2A16.
- You may also send your submission via e-mail to Phebe Kirkham at firstname.lastname@example.org
Once we have received your submission, the editors of the York Review will review it, and contact you about what will happen next. Please be sure to provide an email address which you check regularly, AND a phone number, so that we can get in touch with you.
If your paper is selected, the editors will work with you to make further revisions to your paper for publication. The process provides good experience for any future writing and publishing that you might do.
Thank you for your interest in the York Review. We look forward to reviewing your work!
