Honors program former director, Dr William Ashton, and two honors program alumni, Vica Mars and Renny Eapen, published a paper in the peer-reviewed journal, Honors in Practice.  HIP is a journal of the National Collegiate Honors Council and publishes papers on the administration of honors programs. 

The paper,  "Ad tracking, brand equity research and … your Honors Program?" describes a marketing program for the honors program and a marketing research study of the program's effectiveness.  A third author of the paper was Dr  Barbara Ashton, who was the director of the honors program at Wittenberg University for 6 years.
