Social Work (BS)

The Social Work Program, accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, prepares students for the beginning level of professional social work practice and for graduate school.

HEGIS CODE 2104

The curriculum provides students with a solid liberal arts foundation and a generalist social work education, including professionally supervised training in agencies. Two admission procedures are required in order to advance to the upper division (SCWK 360 and above) and to the fieldwork portion of the Social Work Program: admission to the Social Work Program; and admission to Social Work Field Education. Students also must satisfy retention criteria.
