    Your complete application should include*:

    • Completed Department of Occupational Therapy Application
    • Official transcripts for transfer students
    • Two letters of reference using the supplied form; one from a supervisor or professor and one from an Occupational Therapist
    • An up to date resume

    * Your application will not be processed unless it includes the completed application form, your resume, all transcripts, and at least one of the two required letters of reference.

Students should provide accurate contact information, including home phone, cell phone, and email, so that eligible candidates can be contacted for an interview appointment.  The interview process can take 1-3 hours; students should allow for adequate time. Interviewing students are also required to complete an on-site writing sample on a computer.  Students with a documented disability requiring accommodations must notify the department at least one week prior to their interview date.

Acceptance into the Occupational Therapy Program

Approval by the Occupational Therapy Evaluation and Selection Committee is required. This Committee bases its recommendations on the following criteria:

    • Completed Department of Occupational Therapy application and two reference letters, one of which must be from an occupational therapist
    • Professional interview
    • Minimum GPA of 2.8 and appropriate courses
    • On-Site Writing Sample completed on a computer
