This is a College Now program designed for those students who aspire to have a future in the health or medical professions. Over a two year a student can receive up to 10 college credits in health related fields.

Overview

  • An early start towards a career in the Health and Medical fields
  • 10 college credits in the health field
  • Introductory health professions classes & other requirements for majors
  • Two-year program starting in the junior year
  • All classes at the York College campus
  • Ten Saturday mornings each term
  • Guest speakers
  • Free books and materials

  • Introductory Health Professions I
  • Introduction to Nutrition and Health
  • Related Health and Science courses

 Requirements

  • 85+ average in Science and Math classes
  • 80+ on Living Environment Regents
  • Juniors Only

How to Enroll

  • This Program is for Lower Juniors only
    Contact your guidance counselor or science
    chairperson by May 15th for information and application
  • Classes start in the beginning of October
