Student Activities

The mission of the Office of Student Activities (SA) is to complement the academic experience with co- and extra-curricular programs that promote social and personal development. The staff of SA advises and assists student groups in planning social, educational, and recreational programs and provides opportunities for the development of leadership skills.

A variety of groups - academic, social, athletic, cultural, recreational, political, and special interest - add an additional set of valuable learning experiences for students and faculty. Each group established on campus must meet approved criteria in order to gain status as a College-chartered organization. Faculty advisors assist and consult with students in the development of programs, and provide resources and assistance as needed.

Student Activities works closely with the Student Government Association (SGA).  SGA is comprised of students that have been elected by students to represent and advocate for all members of the student body.  See Student Government Association for a list of the current SGA membership and information on how you can become a member of SGA.
