Graduates of this Program are awarded the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) degree by York College, CUNY.
The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) has granted Accreditation-Continued status to the York College, CUNY Physician Assistant Program sponsored by the York College, CUNY. Accreditation-Continued is an accreditation status granted when a currently accredited program is in compliance with the ARC-PA Standards. Accreditation remains in effect until the program closes or withdraws from the accreditation process or until accreditation is withdrawn for failure to comply with the Standards. The approximate date for the next validation review of the program by the ARC-PA will be April 2028. The review date is contingent upon continued compliance with the Accreditation Standards and ARC-PA policy. The program’s accreditation history can be viewed on the ARC-PA website.
About Our Program
The York College Physician Assistant Program is dedicated to educating the next generation of compassionate, highly skilled medical providers. As part of the City University of New York (CUNY), we are grounded in academic excellence and health equity, providing a pathway for students from diverse backgrounds to enter the medical profession.
Our curriculum is designed to ensure that the concepts taught in the classroom are directly reinforced through meaningful, real-world clinical practice. Students undergo rigorous didactic training followed by extensive clinical rotations across New York’s premier healthcare systems.
