The York College Jazz Workshop is the student jazz ensemble at York College/CUNY in Jamaica, Queens. The ensemble is a two-credit class and performs periodically throughout the semester

The Summer Jazz Institute (now in its third year) is a tuition-free program for New York City public high school sophomores and juniors sponsored by College Now. Students earn five college credits over five weeks while studying jazz performance and music theory.
