November's session of the Barbershop will focus on Teacher Education, specifically the Teachers as Leaders Program which is sponsored primarily by the Deutsche Bank of Americas Foundation. On Thursday, March 10th at 12 Noon, the Beta Chapter of Pi Eta Kappa will be having their annual Campus Walk. The members of this academic fraternity and honor society will be stopping at various areas around campus in an effort to bring awareness to the chapter's presence at York College.

The Beta Chapter of Pi Eta Kappa, the academic fraternity and honor society started by Dr. Edison O. Jackson, is having its Fall 2009 Induction ceremony. This year's inductees, who must maintain a minimum g.p.a. of 3.5, come from a variety of different majors and backgrounds.
