- Notice of York College's 2014 Annual Security Report Availability
York College's annual security report for 2014 is now available. This report is required by federal law (Clery Act) and contains policy statements and crime statistics for the college.
- Public Safety Survey
The Office of Institutional Research & Assessment is conducting the Public Safety Customer Satisfaction Survey. Please take a few minutes and go to the following url to complete the anonymous survey.

In conjunction with the NYPD Firearms and Tactics Training Section.
- Fire Alarm Testings
On Thursday and Friday December 26th and 27th the DASNY will be intermittently testing fire alarm devices in the Academic Core Building between the hours of 8 AM and 11 AM.
- ID Cards
The Public Safety Department has relocated the operation of processing and issuing Identification Cards (IDs) to the H-Wing of the first floor in the Academic Core Building outside the Public Safety Office.
- Fire Alarm Maintenance - Academic Core Bldg
The fire alarm system in the Academic Core building is currently undergoing reprogramming and maintenance today. During the maintenance of the system the strobe lights in the Academic Core building may be activated.
- 100% ID Check Campus Notification
Beginning Monday, April 20, all members of the York College community and visitors to the campus will be required to present a picture ID to gain entry to the campus. The 100% ID check will be in effect at the entrances to all buildings. If you are a student, a member of the faculty or staff, a valid York College ID will be required to gain access to the campus.
- Vehicle Identification Etching
NYPD COMMUNITY AFFAIRS DIVISION will be conducting Vehicle Identification Number Etching on automobile in the York College East Parking Lot.
