Bronx STEM Scholars Program
The purpose of this program is to form a linkage among the three CUNY Colleges in the Bronx (Lehman College, Hostos Community College, and Bronx Community College) that allows STEM scholars from Hostos and BCC the opportunity to complete a summer laboratory research training program at Lehman College.

National Science Foundation - Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) at Baruch College
The REU Program: • Offers advanced research training for one academic year to 12 undergraduate students who attend four-year colleges and universities in the New York metropolitan area. • Targets students who belong to historically disadvantaged groups. • Provides a concentrated research experience in which each student plans and executes an independent project and works with a faculty mentor and their research team on existing research projects.

There are various safety concerns associated with large contractor excavating construction vehicles and regular vehicles utilizing the parking lot main entrance at Guy R. Brewer Blvd. during the emergency replacement of the four (4) – six inch diameter pipes.
