The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (OIRA), a department in the Office of Academic Affairs, provides data about York College to the college community, the Central Offices of CUNY, and many outside government and private agencies. Data may be necessary when applying for government or other grants as well as for departmental research including Program Reviews.

York College Mourns President Emeritus Bassin

The York College/CUNY community is in mourning following the death of its former president, Mr. Milton G. Bassin, who died on August 13, 2012. The president emeritus had been in failing health in recent years but still had a great love for the college to which he was devoted.

for 2009 United Way CUNY for Charitable Giving The contributions will assure that important vital programs and services are delivered to our students here at York College as well as many people right here in our community.

York College has been named to once again participate in the National Championship Tournament of the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge (HCASC). We will be one of 64 schools vying for prestige and other rewards (did I mention that the first place school will receive $50,000?).
