- Tie Ceremony
It is our pleasure to host a Tie Ceremony, where each participant will be awarded a tie, as a symbol of our commitment to fully equip the student and the professional they will become. Interested participants are encouraged to stop by the Men's Center and confirm their attendance. Each mentee will be assigned a mentor that will provide assistance in tying a tie.

Does your image define you? Come and share your thoughts on this somewhat controversial topic. Special invited guests discuss why they are on a campaign to improve the image of inner-city males.
- 5th Annual Men's Conference
All are invited to this year's 5th Annual Men's Conference of the York College Male Initiative Program.
This year's theme is, "From the Invisible Male to the Visible Man: How We Move From the Sidelines to the Playing Field in American Society."
Panelists include: Dr. Ron Daniels, Roger Scotland, Minister Abdul Hafeez Muhammad, NYC Councilman Charles Barron, and former NYS Regent Adelaide Sanford.

Stop by the Men's Center for the Fall 2010 Enrollment Day of the New York Times Reader's Club. Information will be on hand to subscribe for weekly delivery at the education rate of .50 per copy. Free gifts for all that subscribe.
In addition, sign up for membership to the New York Times Reader's Club, which meets twice a month in the Men's Center.

The Beta Chapter of Pi Eta Kappa will be having their annual recruitment day for students that have an interest in joining the academic fraternity and honor society.
- A Black Father's Week - Kickoff Celebration
An evening of song, spoken word, networking and acknowledgment of Men who are exemplary role models and positively impact our community youth.
- Men's Health Awareness Event
This special session of the Barbershop focuses on health issues that are unique to men, particularly men of color.
In addition, there will be a special recognition of the Physician Assistant Program here at York with visiting PA graduates from the Queens Hospital Center.
