- Tie Ceremony
The Beta Chapter of Pi Eta Kappa is sponsoring a mentoring event on Tuesday, October 27th, at 5:00 p.m., in the Atrium.
The Tie Ceremony is a symbolic event between mentor and mentee, where each mentee will be handed a neck tie by their mentor, and will then proceed to tie the neck tie during the ceremony.

It is our pleasure to host a Tie Ceremony, where each participant will be awarded a tie, as a symbol of our commitment to fully equip the student and the professional they will become. Interested participants are encouraged to stop by the Men's Center and confirm their attendance. Each mentee will be assigned a mentor that will provide assistance in tying a tie.

Come and celebrate the graduation of the students of the Male Initiative Program for the 2008-9 academic year. Special guest speaker will be Vice-Chancellor Gary Moore. We will also be honoring several individuals for their contributions to the program.

The York College Male Initiative Program is extremely proud to sponsor this much needed discussion on mental health among students of under-represented populations, particularly Black and Latino males. Join mental health advocate and speaker Hakeem Rahim as we discuss various areas of mental health, including: depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, and more.
