- The Library Receives a Major Donation
York Library is grateful to receive approximately 1,600 volumes from Mr. David Levey, who is the Chairman of the Lehman College Foundation. Mr. Levey was persuaded to make the donation by his daughter, Dr. Tania Levey of York’s Social Sciences Department (Sociology program). Please click to read more about it.
- Library CLOSED - Lincoln's Birthday
Both the G-Wing and H-Wing will be CLOSED on the occasion of Lincoln's birthday.
- Portraiture by Mary Hatch
During Fall 2009, the York Library exhibited works by Mary Hatch, featuring portraiture in ink, marker and wax rubbing on paper and wood. Click on the link to read more about it.

- Library CLOSED - Memorial Day Weekend
Library will be CLOSED on 5/29, 5/30, and 5/31.
- One Entrance/Exit for the Library
Everyone must enter and exit the Library through the 3rd floor G-wing doorway only. Anyone wanting to go to the 3H corridor (e.g., Academic Achievement/Tutoring Center, the 3H classrooms, or the CUNY Peace Officer Academy) should enter directly through the 3rd floor H-wing doorway.
- Library 3H Room number changes
Now that the Library has moved out of the 3H corridor, it can be confusing for those looking for the rooms with the 3H designation that have remained within the Library, such as the Information Literacy Classroom (formerly 3H09).
