- ID Cards
The Public Safety Department has relocated the operation of processing and issuing Identification Cards (IDs) to the H-Wing of the first floor in the Academic Core Building outside the Public Safety Office.
- Safe Passage Program/Up-Till Midnight
Please be advised that the Public Safety Office is implementing a “Safe Passage Initiative” during the “Up-Till-Midnight Program,” to ensure the safe arrival of members of the campus community to the Archer Ave/Parsons Blvd. Subway station after their evening classes and late night study sessions.

Please be on Alert...There have been 7 carjacking incidents in the month of May involving high end vehicles including but not limited to Mercedes, BMW and Range Rover etc.

Smartphone thefts have increased sharply in New York City in recently years due to their popularity around the city, the country, and the world.
- 100% ID Check Campus Notification
Beginning Monday, April 20, all members of the York College community and visitors to the campus will be required to present a picture ID to gain entry to the campus. The 100% ID check will be in effect at the entrances to all buildings. If you are a student, a member of the faculty or staff, a valid York College ID will be required to gain access to the campus.
